Class Organisation
The Film & Photography SAED Class is proudly facilitated by Jomo Resource Center; a reputable EduTech Firm dedicated to moving learning from the classroom to people’s homes and conveniences through the power of modern technology and mobile Gadgets. With over 58 corporate, management, business, leadership, and Career courses, the firm is revolutionarising the process of knowledge and skill acquisition by providing training needs at individuals pace and place.
The Film & Photography SAED Class is a dynamic class functioning as both an in-camp training class and a publicity team for the SAED branch. In partnership with the ICT SAED class, the class manages SAED Facebook pages and YouTube channel by publishing real-time contents from SAED in-camp activities. Through its projects and exhibition, the class also provide customized print media items like Banner, Jotter, File Folder, Frames etc. designed to promote the SAED initiative, mark important events of the scheme or celebrate outstanding camp officials.
As a SAED in-camp training class, the Film & Photography Class is designed to achieve the following objectives:
- Provide a bounding and collaborating opportunities for Corps Photo/Video Content enthusiasts, both beginners and experts for the purpose of inspiration and tech career exploration.
- To provide participating corps members the opportunity to learn basic photographic and videographic skills.
- To teach participating Corps Members how to make Photo Enlargements and turn it into a side-hustle
SUB-CLASSES:
The Class will be divided into three Sub-Classes. This is to ensure better utilisation of the little time we have. Each member is required to choose a sub-class that better fits into their aspirations. However, general classes will still be held on major subjects of the class but to ensure efficiency and specialisation, the following sub-classes will be maintained:
- Photo Capture & Publishing: Shall be peopled by members of the class who has strong interest in creative photo shots and photo editing. This unit shall be responsible for; snapping of photograph for all uses including personal projects, and editing of photograph using mobile applications. The projects to be executed will include; Daily Photograph from other SAED classes, Photograph from Funding options and Exhibition and shall be headed by the a Class Rep. (AKA Chief Photographer).
- Video Recording & Scripting: Shall be peopled by members of the class who has strong interest in video recording, broadcasting, and video scripting. The projects to be executed will include; SAED Documentary, Camp Tour Video, and ShareMyStory episodes. Shall be headed by a Class Rep. (AKA Head of Recording).
- Video Editing & Publishing: Shall be peopled by members of the class with strong interest in video editing and publishing. The unit shall edit all video contents recorded by the Video Recording Unit and shall be headed by a Class Rep. (AKA Chief Editor).
Break-Out Groups:
Each of the above sub-classes will be further divided into Break-Out Groups by the Trainer and be headed by a Head of Assignment (HOA) who shall report directly to the Class Rep. The number of breakout groups will depend on the total number of persons in the class. The purpose of break-out groups will be for the implementation of Hands-On Exercise.
It is important to note that Break-out groups exists at the discretion of the Trainer. Where the Trainer judge it to be unnecessary, break-out groups should not be formed.
WhatsApp Groups:
To ease communication and bonding for all members of the class, this class shall maintain a general WhatsApp group. Members can join these groups by clicking on the appropriate buttons from the learning portal. Certificate of Participation:
All members of the class who enrol for the Corps Mentorshp Programme (CMP) are entitled to a Certificate of Participation from Jomo Resource Center. This certificate is free of charge, members of the class can’t and should not make any payment for this certificate.

Trainers & Heads of Assignment
Jomo Resource Center; the organisation facilitating this training is an EduTech firm dedicated to empowering young Africans in Entrepreneurship Development, Digital Marketing, Corporate & Professional Skills building and technological skills building. The following are the trainers as assigned by the company and approved by the scheme.
- Lead Trainer: Mr. Gabriel S. Ejeh; the Lead Trainer is a Lead Consultant at Jomo Resource Center. He is a certified Business Developer and Career Developer with the passion to help young people identify their potential, build and scale their talents and build a formidable business enterprise. He also a Content Creator, an Author of six (6) books, and a devote advocate for Youth Emancipation in Nigeria.
- Trainer: Mr. Mathew Okoji the Trainer is a Digital Content Creator and a Programme Assistant at Jomo Resource Center. He specialises in promoting brands through Video Content creation. He is skilled in Mobile Photography, Video recording, Video Editing and Publishing.
- Corps Facilitators: During this class, Corps members who are skilled in the various subjects to be taught during this class will be carefully examined and appointed to assist in the teaching process. This is as Directed by the National Headquarters and would help in the steeping down of the various training, ensure effectiveness and ease implementation and monitoring of Hands-on Exercise.
- Class Governor: The Class Governor shall be appointed by the Trainer or nominated by members of the class and shall be responsible for the general administration of the class. In specific terms, he/she shall:
- coordinate the setup of the class or pre-class arrangements,
- ensure daily attendance,
- ensure all members of the class carryout their online registration,
- disseminate information, and where necessary, assign new members to a Break-out Class and
- coordinate exhibition & collection of personal project.
- Submit a general report of the class to the Trainer.
- For ease of access, his/her photograph, personal tel & whatsapp contacts would be published on the learning portal of the class.
- Class Representative: There shall be a Class Rep for each of the sub-classes who shall report directly to the Class Governor and the instructor(s). He/she shall:
- be responsible for administering daily attendance,
- collaborate with instructor(s) to form and manage Break-out groups,
- receive and document contribution for personal and group projects,
- document all members of the class who subscribe for CMP and
- submit report to the class Governor
- Heads of Assignment: Each break-out group within a sub-class shall be headed by a Head of Assignment who’s responsibility will be to ensure the effective actualisation of Hands-On exercises and any other assignment given to the group. He shall be appointed by and report to the Class Rep.
